New certification in the field of powder coatings for SBS!
A new certification in the field of powder coatings has just been awarded by SBS Steel Belt Systems S.r.l. (December 2015).
In order to be able to supply and sell mills for powder coatings in the European Community one must assure that these systems respect precise standards and rules concerning equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
For this purpose SBS Italy engaged itself in the second semester of 2015 to obtain a type and a system certification by a Notified Body (TÜV Cyprus, member of TÜV Nord) and the process was completed before the end of the year by obtaining the following certifications for all the families of grinding systems (M-10, M-20, M-30, M-40, M-50):
- EC-Type-Examination Certificate n° TÜV CY 15 ATEX 0205636 X
- Conformity to Type based on Product Quality Assurance of the Production process Notification n°0205637 Q
